DESCRIPTION:Join us on November 2 for the intermediate 3D needle felting course from 10:30am to 1:30pm. We will create a small sheep ornament using basic egg shapes & rolls. A variety of different finishing techniques will be explored. \nIncludes all required wool as well as 2 needle felting needles. \nA snack is provided\, but please feel free to bring a lunch.

Come out and unwind with a glass of wine as local artist Melissa Beasley leads the class in an acrylic paint on 12”x16” canvas project. We’ll supply you with the materials needed\, including brushes\, paint\, aprons and canvases. Please arrive a few minutes early to secure your seats\, as painting will begin at 6:30 PM. \nOne glass of wine is included in the price of admission. Additional drinks will be available at our cash bar. Outside food and drink are not allowed – NO BYOB. This is a 19+ only event – all participants will be required to provide photo I.D. \nTickets for this event are only $29.95 +HST. There are only 20 seats available\, so act fast! \nAbout the Artist Instructor: \nMelissa is a Visual Arts Teacher Parry Sound High School\, and she is passionate about encouraging creativity and critical thinking through the arts.  She focuses on building up skills sequentially to create beautiful art that teaches about the foundations of design while practicing techniques used by the masters. \nHer two favourite quotes about art and education are: “Art is the signature of civilizations”\, and “See the gifts in differences”.
