SUMMARY:Aaron Pritchett - Out on the Town Tour 2019
DESCRIPTION:With very special guest Kira Isabella and featuring David James\nAaron Pritchett retains his title as one of Canada’s most electrifying entertainers\, as he prepares to release his 8th studio album – “Out On The Town.” With 14 career top ten singles\, a gold selling smash hit\, a recent string of top 10 songs\, and a massive headlining national tour\, Pritchett continues to pave his way to indelible legacy. \nNationally\, Pritchett continues to evolve his profile with a formula of intensity and consistency applied to his social media fan engagements\, his tour itinerary\, and – his music. “I have been fortunate enough to write & co-write many of my hits\, but once we hit the studio\, I set my ego aside. A BCCMA record that will likely stand the test of time! \n“I’m grateful everyday to be in this business. I was born to be onstage\, and I am so thankful for my fans. They’ve stuck with me through thick and thin\, and I’ll keep releasing the best music I can\, and kicking ass in my live shows to continue to show my appreciation for their loyalty and love.” \nPritchett’s new single “Better When I Do” is at Canadian Country radio now. \nTickets to this event go on sale to Stockey Centre Members on Thursday June 27th at 10am and to the general public on Saturday June 29th at 10am.  Contact our Box Office at 877-746-4466 extension 205 for more information on how to become a member.

SUMMARY:The Northwest Passage in Story and Song
DESCRIPTION:The Northwest Passage in Story and Song is a musical and spoken-word performance of original songs inspired by the sights and sounds of the Canadian Arctic\, its history and its contemporary realities. Combining photography\, storytelling\, and live original songs\, this performance conveys the emotional and spiritual impact of Arctic travel. \nSinger-songwriter David Newland is an expedition host and Zodiac driver who has made multiple trips to the Canadian Arctic\, Labrador and Greenland. Born in Ottawa\, raised on the shores of Georgian Bay near Parry Sound\, David crisscrossed Canada and travelled the world before settling in Cobourg\, Ontario.  Along with his backing band\, Uncharted Waters (Sam Allison\, Saskia Tomkins\, and Steafan Hannigan) he presents a stirring\, evocative musical vision of the mythic Arctic. Special guests Siqiniup Qilauta / Sunsdrum bring a dynamic presence to the stage\, sharing contemporary and traditional Inuit culture by way of throat-singing\, drum-dancing and Arctic games

SUMMARY:Jim Cuddy with Special Guest Marshall Dane
DESCRIPTION:In support of the West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation to purchase three IV Pumps for the operating Room at the WPSHC.\nAs one half of one of Blue Rodeo’s songwriting partnership\, Jim Cuddy has one of the https://healthylombard.com/buy-propeciafinasteride-online/ most recognizable voices in Canadian music thanks to omnipresent hits such as “Try\,” “5 Days In May\,” and “Bad Timing.” As a group Blue Rodeo has sold over 5 million records world-wide\, won countless JUNO Awards\, been inducted in to the Canadian Music Hall of Fame\, received a star on Canada’s Walk of Fame and Jim (along with songwriting partner Greg Keelor) was invested as Officers of the Order of Canada. \nIn 1998\, in between Blue Rodeo projects\, Jim released his first solo album All In Time and hit the road with the eponymous Jim Cuddy Band. Since that first release the Jim has recorded three more solo albums; The Light That Guides You Home (2006)\, Skyscraper Soul (2011)\, Constellation (2018). Jim’s latest release\, Countrywide Soul\, is a celebration of sorts – a celebration of music and the musicians who join him on stage each night. The album was recorded live on the top floor of Jim’s barn and kept as natural as possible to retain the woody sound of the barn board room and the energy that only comes from playing together live. Jim re-worked a number of songs previously recorded for his solo career and with Blue Rodeo. To round out the record\, he wrote two new songs and included a couple of favourite cover songs. \nJim Cuddy will be joined by opening act Marshall Dane! \nBorn in St. Catharines\, Marshall Dane grazed on a rich fix of music\, from the country sounds of his preacher Dad who taught him to play “The Farmer’s Song” on guitar to his Mom\, who played piano in the evenings for his family of four sisters and two brothers. Marshall admits that his parents’ spiritual upbringing permeates his songs with themes of love\, home and kindness. Whether it’s a large scale festival stage\, the CNE\, one of the many CCMA Country Music Week performances or an intimate club\, Marshall’s live show is second to none. He is an artist that always connects with his audience and his energy and passion for performing makes his shows impossible to forget. \nTicket prices:\nOrchestra – $96.00\nMezzanine – $86.00\nBalcony – $76.00 \nTickets go on sale to Stockey Centre Members on Wednesday May 15th at 10am and to the general public on Friday May 17th at 10am.
