SUMMARY:Bands on the Bay: Weber Brothers
DESCRIPTION:Weber Brothers \n\n\n\nThere are bands for which rock and roll is a lifestyle\, and then there are bands for which it is life. To many\, The Weber Brothers are the baddest band in the land. To many others\, their story sits like an ancient volume in an old bookstore\, dust covered\, tucked away behind hundreds of newer\, shinier books. Untouched. Waiting to be discovered. Regardless of what side you’re on\, there’s an undeniable truth. In the rough and tumble world of rock and roll\, The Weber Brothers have been around the block. \n\n\n\nRyan and Sam Weber left their Baltimore\, MD home one night as teenagers\, with the aim of meeting their idol\, rockabilly legend Ronnie Hawkins\, and ten hours later showed up at his doorstep. “The Hawk”\, the elder statesman of rock whose former protégés (Robbie Robertson\, Rick Danko\, Levon Helm\, Richard Manuel\, Garth Hudson) went on to reshape music history as “The Band”\, was duly impressed by the pair’s immense raw talent\, and promptly invited them to audition for his storied backing band\, The Hawks. Mere months later\, after surviving the intense musical apprenticeship of his fabled “Rock ‘n’ Roll Boot-camp\,” they were in: full-blooded Hawks. By the ages of 18 and 21 they had already performed alongside Kris Kristofferson\, Levon Helm\, Garth Hudson\, Jeff Healey and the Tragically Hip to name a few.Over the past 20 some years they’ve recorded 17 independent albums and toured extensively throughout the U.S.\, Canada and Europe. In October 2012 the brothers were invited to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame American Music Masters Tribute to Chuck Berry in Cleveland where they shared the stage with Merle Haggard\, Lemmy Kilmister\, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels\, Rick Derringer\, Joe Bonamassa\, Earl Slick\, Steve Jordan and the father of Rock and Roll himself\, Chuck Berry. \n\n\n\n2016 saw the release of “Before We Arrive: The Story of The Weber Brothers”\, a feature length documentary chronicling the pair’s musical journey\, which the Toronto Independent Film Festival dubbed “Best Documentary” for 2016. Also highly regarded for their proficiency as studio musicians\, the brothers have recorded onhundreds of outside projects\, including work with Gordon Lightfoot\, Kris Kristofferson\, Ronnie Hawkins and Willie Nelson. Between their renowned musical ability\, high-energy\, awe-inspiring performances and lessons learned first hand from rock n’ roll pioneers\, a reputation as the “Baddest Band in the Land”\, “heroes of this generation” and “the future in the big shoes of the past” now precedes them. Whether it be their unrivaled power as a full rock band\, or their undeniable chemistry highlighted in a head-to-head duo performance\, The Weber Brothers always deliver.

DESCRIPTION:A free concert overlooking the bay? This is THE thing to do on a Tuesday evening this summer! Performances are held outside on our bayside deck\, or inside in case of rain from June to August. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRebekah Stevens is a powerhouse country singer-songwriter hailing from Kitchener\, Ontario. Raised in a musical family\, Rebekah’s love for music runs deep — it’s in her blood and has driven her since day one. Her journey kicked off when she began sharing soulful covers and heartfelt originals on YouTube\, quickly building a loyal fan base. Her talent caught the eye of an L.A. producer — someone with ties to the head of Walt Disney Records — and in 2013\, she jetted off to Los Angeles to record her debut EP\, Here I Am. That same year\, Rebekah’s rising star got even brighter when she was named a Top 8 Emerging Artist Finalist at the Boots & Hearts Music Festival — one of Canada’s largest country music stages. It marked her official debut as a live performer\, and she hasn’t looked back since. Since then\, she’s made waves across Ontario\, sharing festival stages with country heavyweights like JoJo Mason\, Jess Moskaluke\, Jim Cuddy\, The Reklaws\, and The Washboard Union. Most recently\, Rebekah warmed up the stage for Sloan at the 2025 Kitchener Canada Day celebrations. Working alongside acclaimed producers J. Richard Hutt and Shawn Moore\, Rebekah has released several singles to Canadian country radio — many of which have seen heavy rotation on SiriusXM’s Top of the Country. Named “One to Watch” by the Country Music Association of Ontario\, Rebekah Stevens is forging her own path in Canadian country — and she’s just getting started.

SUMMARY:Tom Lavin & the Legendary Powder Blues
DESCRIPTION:For over four decades Powder Blues has been Canada’s leading blues band. The mix of swing\, blues\, jazz\, rock & roll and r & b has an appeal so wide that people from seven to seventy swing side by side at a Powder Blues concert. Over the years the band has toured non-stop through Canada\, the US and overseas\, sharing their feel-good music. \n\n\n\nPowder Blues debut album\, ‘Uncut’\, was ignored by major labels who said there was ‘no market for the blues’. To date Powder Blues have sold over a million records worldwide. \n\n\n\nHighlights include winning Canada’s Juno\, headlining the Montreux Switzerland Jazz Festival\, winning the Blues Foundation Award in Memphis\, Tennessee and touring the US and Europe with legends like Willie Dixon\, John Lee Hooker\, B.B. King\, James Brown\, Albert Collins\, James Cotton and Stevie Ray Vaughan. \n\n\n\nLeader\, Tom Lavin wrote many of the band’s best-known songs including ‘Doin’ It Right’ (‘On the Wrong Side of Town’) and ‘Boppin With the Blues’. Born in Chicago\, where he played with local bands and blues legends\, Tom moved to Vancouver where he worked as studio musician\, song writer\, band leader\, record producer and film composer. \n\n\n\nTom has won BCMIA awards for ‘Guitarist\, Singer\, Songwriter and Producer of the Year’\, a Juno award for ‘Best New Band’ and the American W.C. Handy award. He has over a dozen gold\, and platinum records for Powder Blues\, Prism\, April Wine\, Long John Baldry\, Amos Garrett\, and many others. \n\n\n\n2025 is the band’s 47th Anniversary. SUMMARY:The HiP Machine
DESCRIPTION:presented by All Things Music \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAfter unforgettable shows in 2023 and 2024\, (Man Machine Poem) the HiP Machine returns in 2026 to the Stockey Centre. \n\n\n\nInspired by the band\, the man\, the machine\, THE HiP MACHINE brings you the music of The Tragically Hip the way it was meant to be heard live. \n\n\n\nDarryl Aspin of Hitcher fame made his mark captivating audiences in the Durham Region with his strong vocal ability and high-energy performances. Behind Darryl is a band of talented musicians\, including guitarist Mike Rewegen\, drummer Seth McNamara\, firefighter and bassist Stephen Reid\, and on lead guitar\, Mike Marinuk – after six years as a founding member of another Ontario Hip tribute – now showcasing his abilities with performances identical to the albums and live recordings. \n\n\n\nDrawing on his experience in previous projects\, Mike has also helped shape a concert experience that goes beyond the music itself\, adding a visual element that deepens the connection to the songs. \n\n\n\nFor many\, The Tragically Hip was the ultimate live band. Their music carried an energy and presence that could only be felt in person. The goal is to bring a little of that feeling back\, along with the memories we all share. \n\n\n\nTickets are $43.37+HST. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBUY TICKETS ONLINE HERE \n\n\n\nAlternatively\, tickets can also be purchased during our business hours by calling our Box Office staff at 705-746-4466 extension 405 or visiting us at 2 Bay Street\, Parry Sound.
