With influences like Kate Bush\, Sharon Van Etten\, and Joni Mitchell\, her music is ethereal\, lush and real. Her single\, “Confetti\,” and album\, “Sequoia” (releasing summer 2024)\, are produced by Daniel Ledwell (Jenn Grant\, The Good Lovelies\, Fortunate Ones). Fox’s debut album led her to tour Canada extensively\, sharing stages alongside names like Bahamas\, The Strumbellas and Joel Plaskett. DESCRIPTION:Ian Thomas is “the complete entertainment experience!” He is a film-composer with 22 feature films to his credit; an author; an actor\, much sought after as a voice-over artist and recognized for roles such as Dougie Franklin on the Red Green Show… and\, of course\, a Juno-award-winning Singer-Songwriter whose songs helped form the bedrock of the Canadian musical landscape\, a contribution recognized by SOCAN when Ian was honoured with a National Achievement Award for Songwriting. \n\n\n\nIan Thomas first garnered major radio airplay in1973 with the top-40 single Painted Ladies\, followed by a string of hits throughout the 70s and 80s\, and on into the 90s with his band The Boomers. Whether performed by him or covered by artists including Santana\, Chicago\, Manfred Mann\, America\, Bon Jovi and Bette Midler\, Ian’s many hits continually achieved heavy rotation on radio across Canada and around the world … recordings such as Come The Sun\, Long Long Way\, Right Before Your Eyes\, Coming Home\, Pilot\, Hold On\, Time Is The Keeper\, Liars\, Wishes\, The Runner\, Levity\, Back To Square One\, Love Ya Too Much\, You Gotta Know\, One Little Word\, Dirty Love\, To Comfort You\, and of course\, Painted Ladies. In the new millennium\, Ian joined fellow singer-songwriters Murray McLauchlan\, Marc Jordan and Cindy Church to form Lunch At Allen’s\, touring coast to coast for the past two decades\, and now with five albums to their credit. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOf his art\, Ian says: “The song remains the most satisfying creative experience for me. Over the years James has been crisscrossing Canada\, Europe and Australia in pursuit of seeing the world and entertaining folks along the way. James now has a dozen tours on three continents under his belt and is just getting started. James has released three albums\, the most recent in 2023 entitled “New Friends That Talk Like Old Friends.” In 2019 James won himself a spot at The Mariposa Folk Festival through their showcase auditions. James has since been invited to perform at 4 Mariposa folk events\, 2 Troubadour Festivals and the Muskoka Music Festival in James’ home of central Ontario.

DESCRIPTION:What to bring to the sound bath… \n\n\n\nDress comfortably\, and please arrive a few minutes early to get settled. \n\n\n\nYou’ll be a restful state for the duration of the sound bath so it’s important to make yourself as comfortable as possible. \n\n\n\nThings to bring: \n\n\n\nYoga mat \n\n\n\nPillow (s) and blanket \n\n\n\nWater \n\n\n\nYou might also want to bring: \n\n\n\nCrystals to support you. The vibrations actually cleanse and charge crystals as well. \n\n\n\nIf you have a bolster or if there is anything else that would make you feel more comfortable\, please bring it with you. The sound portion will be approximately 1 hour in addition to the opening and closing of the circle. \n\n\n\nNote – Participants are also able to bring anti gravitational chairs or recliners if preferred\, who are not able to lay on the floor.

This is The Thing To Do on a summer evening! Performances are held outside on our bayside deck\, or inside in case of rain from June to August (typically on Tuesday evenings\, however this is a part of our special Canada Day weekend series). Domino’s Pizza Parry Sound will be on-site selling pizza\, accompanied by The Stockey Centre’s licensed cash bar. \n\n\n\nA high energy Caribbean dance band performing both original and cover songs featuring reggae\, soca\, calypso\, ska & more. They are based in Wasaga Beach\, ON\, Canada.
