Her main research focuses on the impact of carcinogenic metal compounds\, including metal-based nanomaterials\, on genomic stability\, with special emphasis on DNA damage induction and the effects on DNA repair\, gene expression\, cell cycle control\, tumor suppressor functions\, and epigenetic alterations.
