Bands on the Bay: Charlie McKittrick

August 11, 2026 @ 7:00 pm 9:00 pm

A free concert overlooking the bay? This is THE thing to do on a Tuesday evening this summer! Performances are held outside on our bayside deck, or inside in case of rain from June to August.

Charlie McKittrick

From love songs to break up songs, storytelling to protesting, songs that celebrate the inspiration of Family, Friends amd Mother Nature, and even songs that deal with deep depression or the need to keep promises and push through the tough times – Charlie McKittrick is a singer-songwriter whom has proven himself capable of believably touching on a large variety of relatable topics. Often compared to Folk/Country sounds of Gordon Lightfoot, Bob Dylan and Neil Young and Rock sounds of The Tragically Hip, Matthew Good Band Alanis Morissette, and The Beatles, Charlie has managed to carve out his sonic landscape using these and other major influences with how he crafts his tunes. His first release Two Hearts EP (2018) included four all-original tunes. He has released multiple singles, including some Christmas songs, and his debut album Right This Way (2024) includes 10 all-original tunes; available in digital, CD and LP formats. Some notable achievements for Charlie have been: reaching the #1 spot on Hunters Bay Radio’s Top 20 Countdown with the song Fire Tower Man, appearing on Rogers TV (Beaverton) Christmas Special, performing at: Bala Cranberry Festival, Gravenhurst Rib Fest, Bracebridge 150 Celebrations, Muskoka Arts & Crafts Festival, and touring all across Atlantic Canada.
