CanBIC-9 Plenary Lecture on Wednesday May 21st at 7:30pm by Professor Andrea Hartwig, Chair of the Department of Food Chemistry and Toxicology at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Her main research focuses on the impact of carcinogenic metal compounds, including metal-based nanomaterials, on genomic stability, with special emphasis on DNA damage induction and the effects on DNA repair, gene expression, cell cycle control, tumor suppressor functions, and epigenetic alterations. The lecture will be followed by a reception with the opportunity to speak with her.

Poster Session on Thursday May 22nd at 7:30pm, where the public has the opportunity to speak with students.
