Parry Sound High School DRAMA Performs Betrayal at Byron Manor

January 9, 2026 @ 7:00 pm January 10, 2026 @ 4:00 pm

The Charles W. Stockey Centre presents a PSHS Drama Production of Betrayal at Byron Manor; A Masquerade Ball Murder Mystery Play

TWO PERFORMANCES: Friday, January 9 at 7:00pm & Saturday, January 10 at 2:00pm

When billionaire philanthropist Charles Byron hosts his annual masquerade gala, the night promises glamour, gossip, and just a little too much ego. But when the lights flicker during the evening toast and Charles collapses—poisoned—pandemonium erupts. Trapped inside the lavish ballroom by a raging storm, a chaotic cast of family, influencers, ex-partners, forgers, politicians, and staff quickly turn on one another. Accusations fly, secrets unravel, and multiple characters retell events with competing (and often ridiculous) “flashbacks” as everyone tries to survive the world’s messiest investigation.

Featuring sharp comedy, over-the-top drama, heartfelt moments, and a twist ending that reveals the real killer when no one expects it, Betrayal at Byron Manor is a high-energy original production created collaboratively by the PSHS Production Class. With its mix of slapstick, satire, intrigue, and character-driven storytelling, this student-written mystery celebrates creativity, teamwork, and the joy of theatre-making.

Free Admission to this programming was made possible by the generous support of the Rotary Club of Parry Sound Revival
