You are invited to attend the “Day of Search and Rescue” event hosted by the Town of Parry Sound at the Stockey Centre on Friday, March 22.

The event will include 6 participants, with booths set up in the lobby of the Stockey Centre, as well as demonstrations of SHERP world’s most powerful ATVs and hovercrafts by manufacturers from Seguin and Markham, Ontario on Georgian Bay.

Weather permitting, the demonstrations will include ”live” rescue exercises on ice and open water in collaboration with the Town of Parry Sound Fire Department.

Representatives of all the participating companies will be available to answer questions and demonstrate their products and services.

The event will provide an opportunity to promote Parry Sound as a future cluster for search and rescue equipment manufacturers and help attract SMEs from the GTA and across the province.  It will allow participants to network with officials from local municipalities, as well as provincial and federal governments and explore opportunities in the area.
